Our drivers undergo rigorous training and possess the qualifications to access all customer sites safely. Moreover, we hold Tribal Access Permits, enabling us to conduct business on Indian lands in Wyoming, North Dakota, and Utah.

Heavy Haul / Rig Move

Molten Sulfur
Since 1990, John Bunning Transfer Co., Inc. has been a trusted transporter of Molten Sulfur. Our journey began hauling from the Chevron Carter Plant at Glencoe Junction to what is now Simplot Phosphate in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Over the past twenty-three years, our operations have expanded significantly. Today, we serve nine refineries, delivering to destinations including Simplot Phosphates, Solvay Minerals, three power plants, and several asphalt plants.
At the heart of our operations lies a steadfast commitment: prioritizing safety for our drivers, customers, and the public. Through collaborative teamwork, we ensure a secure environment every day. With a dedicated team of drivers, mechanics, and office personnel, we consistently achieve this paramount goal.
Dry Bulk
John Bunning Transfer embarked on its journey in the Dry Bulk industry during the early 1960s, initially transporting sand and cement for the construction of the Flaming Gorge Dam. Concurrently, we also facilitated the transportation of barite for the burgeoning oil and gas exploration sectors. Since those formative years, our scope has broadened extensively.
Throughout our history, we've handled a diverse array of products, ranging from raw trona to perlite. Presently, our versatile fleet is engaged in transporting a wide spectrum of commodities, including soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, carbon, potatoes, clay, and salt. Our capabilities extend nationwide, enabling us to efficiently transport any dry bulk commodity to your desired destination.
Pipe Storage
In addition to our transportation services, John Bunning Transfer also offers comprehensive storage solutions across the Wyoming and Colorado regions. Our strategically located yards cater specifically to the needs of the Oil and Gas Industry.
